At Colomokee, we’re definitely not perfect. But that very fact is at the heart of what a Biblical church actually is: a group of imperfect people who are trusting and following the only perfect Savior, Jesus Christ. We want to know Him more, become more like Him, and joyfully bring Him glory as we follow Him together.
Over the years, God has gifted us in certain ways that have come to characterize our church.
A Loving Spiritual Family.
We truly view one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. We seek to be loving and kind, speak well of one another, and function as a healthy, strong spiritual family.
Serious Bible Teaching.
From the pulpit, throughout the life of the entire church, we work to read the Bible well, study the Bible well, and teach the Bible well. We are serious about knowing and living the Bible.
Strong Biblical Leadership.
Discipleship and developing leaders is a high priority for us. We aim to model strong Biblical leadership while raising up leaders for the future, whether for Colomokee or beyond.
We Are On Mission for Christ, Together.
Scripture teaches that flourishing believers bear fruit. Impactful ministry arises from spiritual maturity. That’s why our mission is simple and focused on helping you become a healthy, strong, growing follower of Jesus.
As you are equipped and grow spiritually, we know God will work through you to impact the world around you.
Our church’s mission can be captured in three words:
Marvel, Keep, and Grow.
Marvel.
Above all, we gather to marvel at Christ and His Gospel. As we joyfully behold Him, we will become like Him.
Keep.
Together, we are keepers of the Word of God. As we learn the Word, live the Word, and pass it on to others, we fulfill the Great Commission Jesus gave us.
Grow.
We are a gathering of growing people. As we grow in grace, we are spiritually fruitful and effective, and bring God glory.
